Firewall & Secure Connectivity

The boundary between the business and everything outside it: the firewall that decides what may pass, and the secure links that let sites and remote staff reach the inside without leaving it open.

What it is

A boundary with rules someone can explain.

The boundary between the business and everything outside it: the firewall that decides what may pass, and the secure links that let sites and remote staff reach the inside without leaving it open.

This is configuration and design work, delivered and handed over. It is not a managed security service: ongoing monitoring and response are a separate support engagement, not an implication of this one.

When a business needs it

You will recognise it before anyone names it.

  • The firewall rules have accumulated for years and nobody can say what half of them do
  • Remote access is a workaround somebody set up, still working, never reviewed
  • Two sites move data by email and portable drives because no link exists
  • An insurer, auditor or client has started asking pointed questions about the boundary

What we deliver

How it connects

A system is only as good as its joins.

  • Remote staff reaching internal systems without exposing them
  • Segmentation enforced at the boundary, not just drawn on the diagram
  • Site links carrying the systems that span locations
  • Changes traceable because the rulebase is documented
